The great city falls!
“The great city split into three parts, and the cities of the nations collapsed. God remembered Babylon the Great and gave her the cup filled with the wine of the fury of his wrath.” Revelation 16:19.
As mentioned in the previous blog, the great city functions as the center of global authority, guiding and coordinating the economic and commercial integration of its member nations. Currently, the World Trade Organization (WTO), based in Geneva, Switzerland—an impartial territory—serves as this global coordinating body. Whether this will lead to a single worldwide government, as analysts suggest, remains uncertain. However, regardless of its structure and function, a centralized global authority will fail. Such failure is an inherent part of the global economic system. According to the trilateral plan, the world’s three military powers will collaborate to prevent global chaos from escalating.
The three unclean spirits John saw symbolize regions where the world’s military might is concentrated. Revelation 16:13–16. The Trilateral Concept, as currently proposed, will include Europe, Asia led by China, and the Americas under U.S. leadership. The plan is for these three regions to play a larger role in global affairs and, if necessary, use force to uphold the World Order.
The events of the sixth trumpet involve preparing for the arrival of the King of kings. The Dragon, the Beast, and the False Prophet will utilize the world’s three major military powers—the three unclean spirits—to try to prevent the expected extraterrestrial invasion, which is the return of the King of kings with His escort. The three frogs, representing the three unclean spirits, will help ensure the safety of the ten kings of the world. These ten kings will perfect the technology needed for a war of influence. The technology necessary for this is in the advanced development stage.
When the faithful ascend to heaven with the King of kings, the three unclean spirits and the ten kings will work together to prevent their return to Earth. They will be prepared to help Satan conduct the final war, at a place called Armageddon, after his release from the Abyss. This last war will take place at the end of the Millennium when Satan once again becomes the ruler of this world. As the ruler of this world, Satan will lead the Eighth Kingdom in the final battle against the New Jerusalem at a location called Armageddon. The location of Armageddon is described in Zechariah 14:4–5.
