The prostitute and the ten kings continued.
Jesus stated that “there will be great global distress” before He returns. Matthew 24:21. The system being established worldwide will inevitably lead to severe distress that humanity has never faced before. Jesus said that this global distress would occur just before His return. “Immediately after the distress of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from the sky, and the heavenly bodies will be shaken.” Matthew 24:29. This event is not a natural astronomical event. This sign will point to the return of the King of kings and Lord of lords. “Then will appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven. And then all the people of the earth will mourn when they see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.” Matthew 24:30.
Here, Jesus indicated a specific time for His return. The exact day and hour within that period are unknown to humans. However, Jesus stated that He would return immediately after the great global economic crisis. When exactly will this crisis happen? We cannot know. Still, it is much nearer than we think. Paul warned that the fear of what was to come would fall upon them when they said, “peace and security,” or “peace and prosperity.” The worldwide effort for peace and prosperity is underway. How long will this peace last? We do not know. However, if it lasts one economic cycle, it will not last more than ten years. The author of these blogs believes it will not last long, based on the nature of the global system. The current global economic cycle lasts about 9 years. Revelation chapter 18 vividly describes the great distress.
Global economic prosperity is expected to begin in 2030 or earlier. By then, the international currency reset is likely to be implemented. Experts of the Global System predict that transitioning to digital currency will boost global economic growth. The author attended many plenary sessions on the global socio-economic system. Based on what was presented, the author does not foresee more than twenty years of success, including economic failure. According to the Global System’s experts, the global distress, following the economic expansion, will be more severe than any humanity has faced before. For those in the Kingdom—Jesus Christ—these events will fulfill the Hope of all hopes. Jesus will return after a time of great distress. Therefore, everyone should lift their heads to heaven, for our redemption is near.
