The Prostitute and the 10 Kings continued.
“The ten horns you saw are ten kings who have not yet received a kingdom, but who for one hour will receive authority as kings along with the beast.” Revelation 17:12. Satan gave the beast, the seventh kingdom, his power, his throne, and great authority to rule the seventh kingdom. Revelation 13:2. The dragon is Satan, or the beast that was, now is not, and will be. He gave his authority to the beast that came out of the sea, the seventh kingdom. The progress of the beast out of the sea was prevented by wars in Europe.
However, the beast that emerged from the land has refined and restored the beast that came out of the sea, bringing it back to the city where it originated—Geneva, Switzerland. The restored beast from the sea shares with the beast from the land the great authority to rule. The ten kings will inherit this authority from the WTO. After the Millennium, the ten kings will return the great authority to the dragon. “They have one purpose and will give their power and authority to the beast.” Revelation 17:13.
The beast in the above verse is Satan, also referred to as a dragon, with seven heads and ten horns. He is the beast that was, is not now, and will be again. The ten kings are not a group of powerful individuals; they are the world’s ten influential nations that will lead the nations during the Millennium. These influential nations will not govern the member countries in their group of nations, but will guide them toward goals set by the seventh kingdom. Each group of nations will consist of free and sovereign countries. All of this will happen soon.
The identity of the ten kings will soon become clear. Currently, we have the G-7 group of nations. The plan is to form the G-10, which will comprise the world’s most influential countries. The final composition of the G-10 is still being decided. The current uncertainty is deliberate. Students studying the books of Daniel and Revelation should avoid creating scenarios that are unlikely to happen. What the world is doing now aligns with God’s plan and purpose. The ten kings who will emerge from the global system known as the “One World” are not yet in place. They are still forming. No past nations or individuals will be restored to lead the world. During this uncertain time, patience and wisdom are essential. Still, everyone should trust God, because His plan is sure and will succeed.
