A TESTIMONY ABOUT JESUS (79)

The unavoidable troubles continued.

It will soon become clearer which countries will make up the final G10, the ten horns of the seventh kingdom. The definitive composition of the G10, representing the ten kings of the seventh kingdom, should be more precise after the year 2030 and well before 2050. Despite the initial tumultuous period, these ten horns, which are described as the ten kings in Revelation chapter 17, will persist until the end of the Millennium because God’s word must be fulfilled. As stated in Revelation 17:17, “For God has put into their minds to carry out his purpose by deciding to give their royal power to the beast until the words of God are fulfilled.” The phrase “by making a decision” can also be translated as “by resolving.” This refers to the decision to return to Satan the authority that he gave to the seventh kingdom, the beast that came out of the sea. Their decision will be a legally binding resolution.

Satan, referred to as the Dragon, or a beast with seven heads, gave his throne and great authority to the seventh kingdom to preserve it and return it to him at the right time, as stated in Revelation 13:2. He transferred his throne and authority to the seventh global kingdom because he was no longer the prince of this world. Consequently, Satan entrusted this kingdom with the task of preparing for his return as the prince of this world. This transfer will be completed when Satan is released from prison at the end of the Millennium.

Upon his release from prison, Satan will transform the ten horns into a unified eighth kingdom that will assist him in waging the war of influence known as the Battle of Armageddon. The battle at the place called Armageddon represents Satan’s final attempt to secure a home for himself and his followers; for this plan to succeed, he requires the full cooperation of humankind’s members loyal to him.

The book of Revelation, specifically chapter 17, describes a beast that appears with a healed wound and can withstand the impending troubles. In contrast, the global coordinating authority, referred to as the harlot, will face dire consequences. Concurrent with great calamities that will strike the world, the seven angels will unleash the final seven plagues, as detailed in Revelation chapter 16.

In chapter 18, the woman is identified as “Babylon, the Great” (Revelation 18:2-3). The “Babylon” symbolizes human pride and self-reliance. King Nebuchadnezzar’s words illustrate such pride when he declares, “Is this not the great city I built?” (Daniel 4:29-31). Those who “live on the earth” are deceiving themselves into believing they can secure their long-term survival through their own efforts. As a result, they spread confusion about God, the Only Sovereign, creating conditions reminiscent of ancient Babylon. Thus, the downfall of the prostitute, Babylon, will reflect their attitudes toward God and their fellow human beings (Revelation 18:7-10). The scene that John witnessed was so distressing that he exclaimed, “Who can stand?”
